The z-Labor
Table of contents
TLDR
We are a hub for people who engage with (digital) technologies in both creative and critical ways.
Open Hackspace
Our range of topics and projects spans electronics and IT security, amateur radio and networking, as well as arts and crafts, screen printing, and photography. In addition to 3D printers, soldering stations, microcontrollers, and computer equipment, our space features a wood and metal workshop, a music corner, retro games, and a sewing area.
We love open-source and free software, are fans of Linux systems, and regularly host talks, game and movie nights, as well as soldering and craft workshops for children and everyone else.
Beauty lies in curiosity
At z-Labor e.V., you’ll find people who are technically minded, enjoy tinkering, and are curious about how devices and systems work—people who aren’t afraid to take them apart and creatively repurpose them for their own needs.
All Creatures Welcome
We aim to create a creative and non-discriminatory space where everyone can find value. We do not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination against guests or members based on their physical appearance, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, skin color, or ethnicity.
Partnerships
In addition, the z-Labor is providing space for a satellite location of the Computertruhe Chemnitz.
